On Chinese Characters and Life

                            On Chinese Characters and Life

On 4th of Mar., Prof. Wu Qing, daughter of Bing Xin who is a very famous Chinese writer, came to XHU and delivered a lecture on Chinese Character and Life in the classroom of 6A132.
Prof. Wu talked the meaning of Chinese Character and the influences her mother exerted on her. She used Extensive and Profound to describe Chinese Character. In her opinion, a man should live like a rose, for rose is the only plant of the family Rosaceae with thorns, so a man should own his independent thought and doesn’t echo the views of others. Finally, she told the students, “Everyone is a gold mine, a seed, has its own brightness.”
