Dr. Qu Bo Invited to the Twelfth National Exhibition of F

The morning of December 15 witnessed the grand opening of the Twelfth National Exhibition of Fine Arts & Exhibition of Nominated Works for Chinese Fine Art Awards, Creative Awards in National Art Museum of China, where the Academic Forum on the Development of Contemporary Chinese Fine Arts was later held in the afternoon. More than twenty critics, scholars and award-winning artists attended, including Dr. Qu Bo, the head of the School of Arts of Xihua University. 

As a comprehensive national awards, the National Exhibition of Fine Arts is co-organized by Ministry of Culture of People s Republic of China, the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the China Artists Association every 5 years. The Academic Forum on the Development of Contemporary Chinese Fine Arts is a major event of the exhibition, and its organizers assembled experts and scholars to select 30 papers out of 100 subscriptions, and invited five of their authors to attend the forum.

Being one of the five invitees, Dr. Qu Bo s paper is Unexpected Surprise-On the Experimental Art Exhibition of Twelfth National Art Exhibition, in which he elaborates that how the experimental art exhibition is formed and what the main body is, as well as the meaning of the exhibition.
